Photography - Tasmania

Photography - Horses

Photography - Dogs

Apart from my fascination with the Shiloh Shepherds, I am also a keen photographer. I thought this blog would be more interesting if I shared some images of my current dogs, horses and life in Tasmania. Below is Shady, my 18 month old blue merle Sheltie. He is a cracker and a great deal of fun! He is also very photogenic. Further down are a couple of images of Jaffa. He is my one remaining borzoi. When he was younger he would love to dance around Shady on the beach. Borzoi play by entirely different rules to most dogs - theirs is a non contact sport!

Acknowledgements

While my journey isn't quite finished yet, I would like to thank Vanessa for taking on this enormous project. I believe her dedication to these girls has been amazing and her patience with me and all my questions remarkable. Especially considering she has four of her own dogs (one with three week old puppies), two children and a husband, horses, gymnastic committments and enough snow to donate to Australia!! I would also like to thank her for taking many of the photos in this blog.

Then there is Kerri of Trynaty photos. I was fortunate to meet Kerry at the Litter Evaluation day while I was staying at Brooks. Kerri is also a keen photographer and to her I am grateful for the more recent images taken at 7 months. According to her, conditions were poor and she was disappointed with her images but I was thrilled and am proud to present them here.

The images of the older dogs (and when the puppies were 8 weeks) were taken by me whilst in Brooks last September.

Tonrar

Here are some images of Tonrar at various ages. Both girls were born within a few days of each other. Of the two, Tonrar is the slower to develop. Her ears still have lazy days but I hear that they are now mostly behaving ;-)
